Step 5

I've been working here since August 2003, and graduated from Gipsa d'Aix en Provence in 2005 as an ASV (Auxiliaire Spécialisée Vétérinaire).

Since I was very young, I've dreamed of working with animals, my ambition would have been to work with horses, but the field is very closed, so I found the asv training at Dr Robotti. I did my two years of work-study and found my way and loved my studies. After graduating, I stayed with Dr Robotti.

I love looking after animals and taking care of them and their owners. I also like the fact that this job is very versatile - you have to be able to do lots of different things in a day, and no two are the same - and that suits me just fine. It's a great source of personal satisfaction.

Step 5

I've been at the clinic since 2019 and I plan to stay for a long time...

I have always loved animals since I was a little girl and I made sure that my career path led me to work with them. As I didn't like school, it was difficult for me, but I persevered to pass my baccalaureate and go to the Gipsa, a recognized school for veterinary auxiliaries. I graduated in 2022!

I enjoy the customer relations that are essential to my work. The clinic team has become like a family. What I like in my job is, of course, after our little patients who are all different, our versatility; reception, kenneling, helping with consultations, managing stocks, human relations... I think I'm smiling and good at listening to make our customers feel welcome, as well as empathetic enough to know how to reassure them when unfortunately they need it.

Step 3

I've been with the clinic since 2021 as an ASV. I've been integrating little by little and now I feel at home. I have a top team of veterinarians and assistants with whom I get on very well. I chose this clinic because from our first meeting with Doctor Robotti, I knew straight away that this was where I wanted to work. She and Anais made me feel very welcome straight away, and that gave me a great deal of confidence.

Why did you choose this profession? Well, ever since I was a child, I've lived with animals such as dogs, cats and turtles, and my passion for observing them, caring for them and trying to understand them fascinates me... That's why I turned to this profession after obtaining my baccalauréat ST2S in Nice.

Vanessa SAMPO

Veterinary technician and physio-educator since 2014, in 2021 I obtained the CCRP (certified canine rehabilitation practitioner) at the University of Tennessee; in 2022 I took the diploma of animal Shiatsuka (Sensei Masato Fukuyama); in 2023 that of 2nd level fascial manipulator at the Stecco School. Since 2024 I've been a member of the board of directors of the Italian Society of Veterinary Technicians (Tecnivet); I've been a speaker at several webinars. I've been working with the Clinique St Hubert since July 2022, where I've found a serene and stimulating environment, where my skills are valued and considered an added value to the clinic for the well-being of the animal, which is always put first.
